According to many, ‘Hoy solo’ is the best and most mature CD from this Zaragoza band whose line-up is Eduardo Tomás ‘Zomas’ (drums), Paco Muñoz (bass) and José M. Tafalla (vocals and guitar).

These songs are stricken with overwrought feeling and fury: rock, punk-rock, emocore, are all fused to produce the most intimate and pure style Sick Brains: emotive and strong rock.

Not only has the band toured live across Spain, they have also collaborated in a film for the big screen, playing the group Azote Satánico in the film produced by Santiago Segura and directed by M. A. Lamata, entitled ‘Una de zombis’. The design and accompanying booklet for ‘Hoy solo’ are also something special, with photographs by the mountaineer Carlos Pauner.
